히브리 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָ֖ה יְהוּדָ֣ה יַעֲלֶ֑ה הִנֵּ֛ה נָתַ֥תִּי אֶת הָאָ֖רֶץ בְּיָדֽוֹ׃

한글(개역) 여호와께서 가라사대 유다가 올라갈지니라 보라 ! 내가 이 땅을 그 손에 붙였노라 하시니라

히브리 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוּדָה֩ לְשִׁמְע֨וֹן אָחִ֜יו עֲלֵ֧ה אִתִּ֣י בְגוֹרָלִ֗י וְנִֽלָּחֲמָה֙ בַּֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י וְהָלַכְתִּ֧י גַם אֲנִ֛י אִתְּךָ֖ בְּגוֹרָלֶ֑ךָ וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ אִתּ֖וֹ שִׁמְעֽוֹן׃

한글(개역) 유다가 그 형제 시므온에게 이르되 `나의 제비 뽑아 얻은 땅에 나와 함께 올라가서 가나안 사람과 싸우자 그리하면 나도 너의 제비 뽑아 얻은 땅에 함께 가리라' 이에 시므온이 그와 함께 가니라

영어(KJV) And Judah said unto Simeon his brother, Come up with me into my lot, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I likewise will go with thee into thy lot. So Simeon went with him.

히브리 וַיַּ֣עַל יְהוּדָ֔ה וַיִּתֵּ֧ן יְהוָ֛ה אֶת הַכְּנַעֲנִ֥י וְהַפְּרִזִּ֖י בְּיָדָ֑ם וַיַּכּ֣וּם בְּבֶ֔זֶק עֲשֶׂ֥רֶת אֲלָפִ֖ים אִֽישׁ׃

한글(개역) 유다가 올라가매 여호와께서 가나안 사람과 브리스 사람을 그들의 손에 붙이신지라 그들이 베섹에서 일만명을 죽이고

영어(KJV) And Judah went up; and the LORD delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten thousand men.

히브리 וַֽ֠יִּמְצְאוּ אֶת אֲדֹנִ֥י בֶ֨זֶק֙ בְּבֶ֔זֶק וַיִּֽלָּחֲמ֖וּ בּ֑וֹ וַיַּכּ֕וּ אֶת הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י וְאֶת הַפְּרִזִּֽי׃

한글(개역) 또 베섹에서 아도니 베섹을 만나서 그와 싸워 가나안 사람과 브리스 사람을 죽이니

영어(KJV) And they found Adonibezek in Bezek: and they fought against him, and they slew the Canaanites and the Perizzites.

1:6

히브리 וַיָּ֨נָס֙ אֲדֹ֣נִי בֶ֔זֶק וַֽיִּרְדְּפ֖וּ אַחֲרָ֑יו וַיֹּאחֲז֣וּ אֹת֔וֹ וַֽיְקַצְּצ֔וּ אֶת בְּהֹנ֥וֹת יָדָ֖יו וְרַגְלָֽיו׃

한글(개역) 아도니 베섹이 도망하는지라 그를 쫓아가서 잡아 그 수족의 엄지 가락을 끊으매

영어(KJV) But Adonibezek fled; and they pursued after him, and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his great toes.

1:7

히브리 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲדֹֽנִי בֶ֗זֶק שִׁבְעִ֣ים מְלָכִ֡ים בְּֽהֹנוֹת֩ יְדֵיהֶ֨ם וְרַגְלֵיהֶ֜ם מְקֻצָּצִ֗ים הָי֤וּ מְלַקְּטִים֙ תַּ֣חַת שֻׁלְחָנִ֔י כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֔יתִי כֵּ֥ן שִׁלַּם לִ֖י אֱלֹהִ֑ים וַיְבִיאֻ֥הוּ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם וַיָּ֥מָת שָֽׁם׃ פ

한글(개역) 아도니 베섹이 가로되 `옛적에 칠십 왕이 그 수족의 엄지가락을 찍히고 내 상 아래서 먹을 것을 줍더니 하나님이 나의 행한 대로 내게 갚으심이로다' 하니라 무리가 그를 끌고 예루살렘에 이르렀더니 그가 거기서 죽었더라

히브리 וַיִּלָּחֲמ֤וּ בְנֵֽי יְהוּדָה֙ בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם וַיִּלְכְּד֣וּ אוֹתָ֔הּ וַיַּכּ֖וּהָ לְפִי חָ֑רֶב וְאֶת הָעִ֖יר שִׁלְּח֥וּ בָאֵֽשׁ׃

한글(개역) 유다 자손이 예루살렘을 쳐서 취하여 칼날로 치고 성을 불살랐으며

영어(KJV) Now the children of Judah had fought against Jerusalem, and had taken it, and smitten it with the edge of the sword, and set the city on fire.

1:9

히브리 וְאַחַ֗ר יָֽרְדוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה לְהִלָּחֵ֖ם בַּֽכְּנַעֲנִ֑י יוֹשֵׁ֣ב הָהָ֔ר וְהַנֶּ֖גֶב וְהַשְּׁפֵלָֽה׃

한글(개역) 그 후에 유다 자손이 내려가서 산지와 남방과 평지에 거한 가나안 사람과 싸웠고

영어(KJV) And afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites, that dwelt in the mountain, and in the south, and in the valley. {valley: or, low country}
