히브리 וַיְהִי֙ דְּבַר יְהוָ֔ה אֶל שְׁמַֽעְיָ֥הוּ אִישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים לֵאמֹֽר׃

한글(개역) 여호와의 말씀이 하나님의 사람 스마야에게 임하여 가라사대

한글(개역) 솔로몬의 아들 유다 왕 르호보암과 유다와 베냐민의 이스라엘 무리에게 고하여 이르기를

11:4

히브리 כֹּ֣ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֡ה לֹא תַעֲלוּ֩ וְלֹא תִלָּ֨חֲמ֜וּ עִם אֲחֵיכֶ֗ם שׁ֚וּבוּ אִ֣ישׁ לְבֵית֔וֹ כִּ֧י מֵֽאִתִּ֛י נִהְיָ֖ה הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה וַֽיִּשְׁמְעוּ֙ אֶת דִּבְרֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וַיָּשֻׁ֖בוּ מִלֶּ֥כֶת אֶל יָרָבְעָֽם׃ פ

한글(개역) 여호와의 말씀이 너희는 올라 가지 말라 너희 형제와 싸우지 말고 각기 집으로 돌아가라 이 일이 내게로 말미암아 난 것이라 하셨다 하라 하신지라 저희가 여호와의 말씀을 듣고 돌아가고 여로보암을 치러 가지 아니하였더라

영어(KJV) Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam.

11:5

히브리 וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב רְחַבְעָ֖ם בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וַיִּ֧בֶן עָרִ֛ים לְמָצ֖וֹר בִּיהוּדָֽה׃

11:6

히브리 וַיִּ֧בֶן אֶת בֵּֽית לֶ֛חֶם וְאֶת עֵיטָ֖ם וְאֶת תְּקֽוֹעַ׃

11:10

히브리 וְאֶת צָרְעָה֙ וְאֶת אַיָּל֔וֹן וְאֶת חֶבְר֔וֹן אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּיהוּדָ֖ה וּבְבִנְיָמִ֑ן עָרֵ֖י מְצֻרֽוֹת׃

한글(개역) 소라와, 아얄론과, 헤브론이니 다 유다와 베냐민 땅에 있어 견고한 성읍이라

영어(KJV) And Zorah, and Aijalon, and Hebron, which {are} in Judah and in Benjamin fenced cities.

11:11

히브리 וַיְחַזֵּ֖ק אֶת הַמְּצֻר֑וֹת וַיִּתֵּ֤ן בָּהֶם֙ נְגִידִ֔ים וְאֹצְר֥וֹת מַאֲכָ֖ל וְשֶׁ֥מֶן וָיָֽיִן׃

한글(개역) 르호보암이 이 모든 성읍을 더욱 견고케 하고 장관을 그 가운데 두고 양식과 기름과 포도주를 저축하고

영어(KJV) And he fortified the strong holds, and put captains in them, and store of victual, and of oil and wine.

11:12

히브리 וּבְכָל עִ֤יר וָעִיר֙ צִנּ֣וֹת וּרְמָחִ֔ים וַֽיְחַזְּקֵ֖ם לְהַרְבֵּ֣ה מְאֹ֑ד וַיְהִי ל֖וֹ יְהוּדָ֥ה וּבִנְיָמִֽן׃ ס

한글(개역) 각 성읍에 방패와 창을 두어 심히 강하게 하니라 유다와 베냐민이 르호보암에게 속하였더라

영어(KJV) And in every several city {he put} shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.

11:13

히브리 וְהַכֹּהֲנִים֙ וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּכָל יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל הִֽתְיַצְּב֥וּ עָלָ֖יו מִכָּל גְּבוּלָֽם׃

한글(개역) 온 이스라엘의 제사장과 레위 사람이 그 모든 지방에서부터 르호보암에게 돌아오되

11:14

히브리 כִּֽי עָזְב֣וּ הַלְוִיִּ֗ם אֶת מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶם֙ וַאֲחֻזָּתָ֔ם וַיֵּלְכ֥וּ לִיהוּדָ֖ה וְלִֽירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם כִּֽי הִזְנִיחָ֤ם יָֽרָבְעָם֙ וּבָנָ֔יו מִכַּהֵ֖ן לַיהוָֽה׃

한글(개역) 레위 사람이 그 향리와 산업을 떠나 유다와 예루살렘에 이르렀으니 이는 여로보암과 그 아들들이 저희를 폐하여 여호와께 제사장의 직분을 행치 못하게 하고

영어(KJV) For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest's office unto the LORD:

11:15

히브리 וַיַּֽעֲמֶד לוֹ֙ כֹּֽהֲנִ֔ים לַבָּמ֖וֹת וְלַשְּׂעִירִ֑ים וְלָעֲגָלִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָֽׂה׃

한글(개역) 여로보암이 여러 산당과 수염소 우상과 자기가 만든 송아지 우상을 위하여 스스로 제사장들을 세움이라

영어(KJV) And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.

11:16

히브리 וְאַחֲרֵיהֶ֗ם מִכֹּל֙ שִׁבְטֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הַנֹּֽתְנִים֙ אֶת לְבָבָ֔ם לְבַקֵּ֕שׁ אֶת יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל בָּ֚אוּ יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם לִזְבּ֕וֹחַ לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י אֲבוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃

한글(개역) 이스라엘 모든 지파 중에 마음을 오로지하여 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 구하는 자들이 레위사람을 따라 예루살렘에 이르러 그 열조의 하나님 여호와께 제사하고자 한지라

영어(KJV) And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the LORD God of their fathers.

11:17

히브리 וַֽיְחַזְּקוּ֙ אֶת מַלְכ֣וּת יְהוּדָ֔ה וַֽיְאַמְּצ֛וּ אֶת רְחַבְעָ֥ם בֶּן שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה לְשָׁנִ֣ים שָׁל֑וֹשׁ כִּ֣י הָֽלְכ֗וּ בְּדֶ֧רֶךְ דָּוִ֛יד וּשְׁלֹמֹ֖ה לְשָׁנִ֥ים שָׁלֽוֹשׁ׃

한글(개역) 그러므로 삼년동안 유다 나라를 도와 솔로몬의 아들 르호보암을 강성하게 하였으니 이는 무리가 삼년을 다윗과 솔로몬의 길로 행하였음이더라

영어(KJV) So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.

11:18

히브리 וַיִּֽקַּֽח ל֤וֹ רְחַבְעָם֙ אִשָּׁ֔ה אֶת מָ֣חֲלַ֔ת בןבןבַּת יְרִימ֖וֹת בֶּן דָּוִ֑יד אֲבִיהַ֕יִל בַּת אֱלִיאָ֖ב בֶּן יִשָֽׁי׃

한글(개역) 르호보암이 다윗의 아들 여리못의 딸 마할랏으로 아내를 삼았으니 마할랏은 이새의 아들 엘리압의 딸 아비하일의 소생이라

영어(KJV) And Rehoboam took him Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David to wife, {and} Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse;

11:19

히브리 וַתֵּ֥לֶד ל֖וֹ בָּנִ֑ים אֶת יְע֥וּשׁ וְאֶת שְׁמַרְיָ֖ה וְאֶת זָֽהַם׃

한글(개역) 그가 아들들 곧 여우스와 스마랴와 사함을 낳았으며

영어(KJV) Which bare him children; Jeush, and Shamariah, and Zaham.

11:20

히브리 וְאַחֲרֶ֣יהָ לָקַ֔ח אֶֽת מַעֲכָ֖ה בַּת אַבְשָׁל֑וֹם וַתֵּ֣לֶד ל֗וֹ אֶת אֲבִיָּה֙ וְאֶת עַתַּ֔י וְאֶת זִיזָ֖א וְאֶת שְׁלֹמִֽית׃

한글(개역) 그 후에 압살롬의 딸 마아가에게 장가들었더니 저가 아비야와 앗대와 시사와 슬로밋을 낳았더라

영어(KJV) And after her he took Maachah the daughter of Absalom; which bare him Abijah, and Attai, and Ziza, and Shelomith. {Maachah: she is also called Michaiah the daughter of Uriel}

11:21

히브리 וַיֶּאֱהַ֨ב רְחַבְעָ֜ם אֶת מַעֲכָ֣ה בַת אַבְשָׁל֗וֹם מִכָּל נָשָׁיו֙ וּפִ֣ילַגְשָׁ֔יו כִּ֠י נָשִׁ֤ים שְׁמוֹנֶֽה עֶשְׂרֵה֙ נָשָׂ֔א וּפִֽילַגְשִׁ֖ים שִׁשִּׁ֑ים וַיּ֗וֹלֶד עֶשְׂרִ֧ים וּשְׁמוֹנָ֛ה בָּנִ֖ים וְשִׁשִּׁ֥ים בָּנֽוֹת׃

한글(개역) 르호보암이 아내 십 팔과 첩 육십을 취하여 아들 이십 팔과 딸 육십을 낳았으나 압살롬의 딸 마아가를 모든 처첩보다 더 사랑하여

영어(KJV) And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines: (for he took eighteen wives, and threescore concubines; and begat twenty and eight sons, and threescore daughters.)

11:22

히브리 וַיַּֽעֲמֵ֨ד לָרֹ֧אשׁ רְחַבְעָ֛ם אֶת אֲבִיָּ֥ה בֶֽן מַעֲכָ֖ה לְנָגִ֣יד בְּאֶחָ֑יו כִּ֖י לְהַמְלִיכֽוֹ׃

한글(개역) 마아가의 아들 아비야를 세워 장자를 삼아 형제 중에 머리가 되게 하였으니 이는 저로 왕이 되게 하고자 함이라

영어(KJV) And Rehoboam made Abijah the son of Maachah the chief, {to be} ruler among his brethren: for {he thought} to make him king.

11:23

히브리 וַיָּבֶן֩ וַיִּפְרֹ֨ץ מִכָּל בָּנָ֜יו לְֽכָל אַרְצ֧וֹת יְהוּדָ֣ה וּבִנְיָמִ֗ן לְכֹל֙ עָרֵ֣י הַמְּצֻר֔וֹת וַיִּתֵּ֥ן לָהֶ֛ם הַמָּז֖וֹן לָרֹ֑ב וַיִּשְׁאַ֖ל הֲמ֥וֹן נָשִֽׁים׃

한글(개역) 르호보암이 지혜롭게 행하여 그 모든 아들을 유다와 베냐민의 온 땅 모든 견고한 성읍에 흩어 살게 하고 양식을 후히 주고 아내를 많이 구하여 주었더라

영어(KJV) And he dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his children throughout all the countries of Judah and Benjamin, unto every fenced city: and he gave them victual in abundance. And he desired many wives. {many wives: Heb. a multitude of wives}
