히브리 וַיַּדְבְּק֣וּ פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים אַחֲרֵ֥י שָׁא֖וּל וְאַחֲרֵ֣י בָנָ֑יו וַיַּכּ֣וּ פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים אֶת יוֹנָתָ֧ן וְאֶת אֲבִינָדָ֛ב וְאֶת מַלְכִּי שׁ֖וּעַ בְּנֵ֥י שָׁאֽוּל׃

한글(개역) 블레셋 사람이 사울과 그 아들들을 추격하여 사울의 아들 요나단과 아비나답과 말기수아를 죽이고

영어(KJV) And the Philistines followed hard after Saul, and after his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchishua, the sons of Saul. {Abinadab: also called, Ishui}

10:3

히브리 וַתִּכְבַּ֤ד הַמִּלְחָמָה֙ עַל שָׁא֔וּל וַיִּמְצָאֻ֖הוּ הַמּוֹרִ֣ים בַּקָּ֑שֶׁת וַיָּ֖חֶל מִן הַיּוֹרִֽים׃

한글(개역) 사울을 맹렬히 치며 활 쏘는 자가 사울에게 따라 미치매 사울이 그 쏘는 자를 인하여 심히 군급하여

히브리 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שָׁאוּל֩ אֶל נֹשֵׂ֨א כֵלָ֜יו שְׁלֹ֥ף חַרְבְּךָ֣ וְדָקְרֵ֣נִי בָ֗הּ פֶּן יָבֹ֜אוּ הָעֲרֵלִ֤ים הָאֵ֨לֶּה֙ וְהִתְעַלְּלוּ בִ֔י וְלֹ֤א אָבָה֙ נֹשֵׂ֣א כֵלָ֔יו כִּ֥י יָרֵ֖א מְאֹ֑ד ס וַיִּקַּ֤ח שָׁאוּל֙ אֶת הַחֶ֔רֶב וַיִּפֹּ֖ל עָלֶֽיהָ׃

한글(개역) 자기의 병기 가진 자에게 이르되 너는 칼을 빼어 나를 찌르라 저할례 없는 자가 와서 나를 욕되게 할까 두려워하노라 그러나 그 병기 가진 자가 심히 두려워하여 즐겨 행치 아니하매 사울이 자기 칼을 취하고 그 위에 엎드러지니

10:5

히브리 וַיַּ֥רְא נֹשֵֽׂא כֵלָ֖יו כִּ֣י מֵ֣ת שָׁא֑וּל וַיִּפֹּ֥ל גַּם ה֛וּא עַל הַחֶ֖רֶב וַיָּמֹֽת׃ ס

한글(개역) 병기 가진 자가 사울의 죽음을 보고 자기도 칼에 엎드러져 죽으리라

영어(KJV) And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword, and died.

10:6

히브리 וַיָּ֤מָת שָׁאוּל֙ וּשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת בָּנָ֔יו וְכָל בֵּית֖וֹ יַחְדָּ֥ו מֵֽתוּ׃

한글(개역) 이와 같이 사울과 그 세 아들과 그 온 집이 함께 죽으니라

히브리 וַ֠יִּרְאוּ כָּל אִ֨ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל אֲשֶׁר בָּעֵ֨מֶק֙ כִּ֣י נָ֔סוּ וְכִי מֵ֖תוּ שָׁא֣וּל וּבָנָ֑יו וַיַּעַזְב֤וּ עָרֵיהֶם֙ וַיָּנֻ֔סוּ וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים וַיֵּשְׁב֖וּ בָּהֶֽם׃ ס

한글(개역) 골짜기에 있는 모든 이스라엘 사람이 저희의 도망한 것과 사울과 그 아들들의 다 죽은 것을 보고 그 성읍들을 버리고 도망하매 블레셋 사람이 와서 거기 거하니라

영어(KJV) And when all the men of Israel that {were} in the valley saw that they fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, then they forsook their cities, and fled: and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.

10:8

히브리 וַיְהִי֙ מִֽמָּחֳרָ֔ת וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים לְפַשֵּׁ֖ט אֶת הַֽחֲלָלִ֑ים וַֽיִּמְצְא֤וּ אֶת שָׁאוּל֙ וְאֶת בָּנָ֔יו נֹפְלִ֖ים בְּהַ֥ר גִּלְבֹּֽעַ׃

한글(개역) 이튿날에 블레셋 사람이 와서 죽임을 당한 자를 벗기다가 사울과 그 아들들이 길보아산에 엎드러졌음을 보고

영어(KJV) And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen in mount Gilboa.

히브리 וַיַּ֨פְשִׁיטֻ֔הוּ וַיִּשְׂא֥וּ אֶת רֹאשׁ֖וֹ וְאֶת כֵּלָ֑יו וַיְשַׁלְּח֨וּ בְאֶֽרֶץ פְלִשְׁתִּ֜ים סָבִ֗יב לְבַשֵּׂ֛ר אֶת עֲצַבֵּיהֶ֖ם וְאֶת הָעָֽם׃

한글(개역) 곧 사울을 벗기고 그 머리와 갑옷을 취하고 사람을 블레셋 땅 사방에 보내어 모든 우상과 뭇 백성에게 광포하게 하고

영어(KJV) And when they had stripped him, they took his head, and his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to carry tidings unto their idols, and to the people.
