히브리 וַיַּ֥רְא בָּלָ֖ק בֶּן צִפּ֑וֹר אֵ֛ת כָּל אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂ֥ה יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לָֽאֱמֹרִֽי׃

한글(개역) 십볼의 아들 발락이 이스라엘이 아모리인에게 행한 모든 일을 보았으므로

히브리 וַיָּ֨גָר מוֹאָ֜ב מִפְּנֵ֥י הָעָ֛ם מְאֹ֖ד כִּ֣י רַב ה֑וּא וַיָּ֣קָץ מוֹאָ֔ב מִפְּנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

한글(개역) 모압이 심히 두려워하였으니 이스라엘 백성의 많음을 인함이라 모압이 이스라엘 자손의 연고로 번민하여

22:4

히브리 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מוֹאָ֜ב אֶל זִקְנֵ֣י מִדְיָ֗ן עַתָּ֞ה יְלַחֲכ֤וּ הַקָּהָל֙ אֶת כָּל סְבִ֣יבֹתֵ֔ינוּ כִּלְחֹ֣ךְ הַשּׁ֔וֹר אֵ֖ת יֶ֣רֶק הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה וּבָלָ֧ק בֶּן צִפּ֛וֹר מֶ֥לֶךְ לְמוֹאָ֖ב בָּעֵ֥ת הַהִֽוא׃

한글(개역) 미디안 장로들에게 이르되 이제 이 무리가 소가 밭의 풀을 뜯어 먹음 같이 우리 사면에 있는 것을 다 뜯어 먹으리로다 하니 때에 십볼의 아들 발락이 모압 왕이었더라

영어(KJV) And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all {that are} round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor {was} king of the Moabites at that time.

22:5

히브리 וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח מַלְאָכִ֜ים אֶל בִּלְעָ֣ם בֶּן בְּע֗וֹר פְּ֠תוֹרָה אֲשֶׁ֧ר עַל הַנָּהָ֛ר אֶ֥רֶץ בְּנֵי עַמּ֖וֹ לִקְרֹא ל֑וֹ לֵאמֹ֗ר הִ֠נֵּה עַ֣ם יָצָ֤א מִמִּצְרַ֨יִם֙ הִנֵּ֤ה כִסָּה֙ אֶת עֵ֣ין הָאָ֔רֶץ וְה֥וּא יֹשֵׁ֖ב מִמֻּלִֽי׃

한글(개역) 그가 사자를 브올의 아들 발람의 본향 강변 브돌에 보내어 발람을 부르게 하여 가로되 `보라, 한 민족이 애굽에서 나왔는데 그들이 지면에 덮여서 우리 맞은 편에 거하였고

영어(KJV) He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which {is} by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me: {face: Heb. eye}

22:6

히브리 וְעַתָּה֩ לְכָה נָּ֨א אָֽרָה לִּ֜י אֶת הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֗ה כִּֽי עָצ֥וּם הוּא֙ מִמֶּ֔נִּי אוּלַ֤י אוּכַל֙ נַכֶּה בּ֔וֹ וַאֲגָרְשֶׁ֖נּוּ מִן הָאָ֑רֶץ כִּ֣י יָדַ֗עְתִּי אֵ֤ת אֲשֶׁר תְּבָרֵךְ֙ מְבֹרָ֔ךְ וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר תָּאֹ֖ר יוּאָֽר׃

한글(개역) 우리보다 강하니 청컨대 와서 나를 위하여 이 백성을 저주하라 내가 혹 쳐서 이기어 이 땅에서 몰아내리라 그대가 복을 비는 자는 복을 받고 저주하는 자는 저주를 받을 줄을 내가 앎이니라'

영어(KJV) Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they {are} too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, {that} we may smite them, and {that} I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest {is} blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.

22:7

히브리 וַיֵּ֨לְכ֜וּ זִקְנֵ֤י מוֹאָב֙ וְזִקְנֵ֣י מִדְיָ֔ן וּקְסָמִ֖ים בְּיָדָ֑ם וַיָּבֹ֨אוּ֙ אֶל בִּלְעָ֔ם וַיְדַבְּר֥וּ אֵלָ֖יו דִּבְרֵ֥י בָלָֽק׃

한글(개역) 모압 장로들과 미디안 장로들이 손에 복술의 예물을 가지고 떠나 발람에게 이르러 발락의 말로 그에게 고하매

히브리 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם לִ֤ינוּ פֹה֙ הַלַּ֔יְלָה וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֤י אֶתְכֶם֙ דָּבָ֔ר כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר יְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֵלָ֑י וַיֵּשְׁב֥וּ שָׂרֵֽי מוֹאָ֖ב עִם בִּלְעָֽם׃

한글(개역) 발람이 그들에게 이르되 `이 밤에 여기서 유숙하라 여호와께서 내게 이르시는 대로 너희에게 대답하리라' 모압 귀족들이 발람에게서 유하니라

영어(KJV) And he said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as the LORD shall speak unto me: and the princes of Moab abode with Balaam.

22:9

히브리 וַיָּבֹ֥א אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶל בִּלְעָ֑ם וַיֹּ֕אמֶר מִ֛י הָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה עִמָּֽךְ׃

한글(개역) 하나님이 발람에게 임하여 가라사대 너와 함께 한 이 사람들이 누구냐 ?

영어(KJV) And God came unto Balaam, and said, What men {are} these with thee?
