37:2

히브리 אֵ֣לֶּה תֹּלְד֣וֹת יַעֲקֹ֗ב יוֹסֵ֞ף בֶּן שְׁבַֽע עֶשְׂרֵ֤ה שָׁנָה֙ הָיָ֨ה רֹעֶ֤ה אֶת אֶחָיו֙ בַּצֹּ֔אן וְה֣וּא נַ֗עַר אֶת בְּנֵ֥י בִלְהָ֛ה וְאֶת בְּנֵ֥י זִלְפָּ֖ה נְשֵׁ֣י אָבִ֑יו וַיָּבֵ֥א יוֹסֵ֛ף אֶת דִּבָּתָ֥ם רָעָ֖ה אֶל אֲבִיהֶֽם׃

한글(개역) 야곱의 약전이 이러하니라 요셉이 십 칠세의 소년으로서 그 형제와 함께 양을 칠 때에 그 아비의 첩 빌하와 실바의 아들들로 더불어 함께 하였더니 그가 그들의 과실을 아비에게 고하더라

영어(KJV) These {are} the generations of Jacob. Joseph, {being} seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad {was} with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.

37:3

히브리 וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אָהַ֤ב אֶת יוֹסֵף֙ מִכָּל בָּנָ֔יו כִּֽי בֶן זְקֻנִ֥ים ה֖וּא ל֑וֹ וְעָ֥שָׂה ל֖וֹ כְּתֹ֥נֶת פַּסִּֽים׃

한글(개역) 요셉은 노년에 얻은 아들이므로 이스라엘이 여러 아들보다 그를 깊이 사랑하여 위하여 채색옷을 지었더니

영어(KJV) Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he {was} the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of {many} colours. {colours: or, pieces}

37:4

히브리 וַיִּרְא֣וּ אֶחָ֗יו כִּֽי אֹת֞וֹ אָהַ֤ב אֲבִיהֶם֙ מִכָּל אֶחָ֔יו וַֽיִּשְׂנְא֖וּ אֹת֑וֹ וְלֹ֥א יָכְל֖וּ דַּבְּר֥וֹ לְשָׁלֹֽם׃

한글(개역) 그 형들이 아비가 형제들보다 그를 사랑함을 보고 그를 미워하여 그에게 언사가 불평하였더라

영어(KJV) And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

37:5

히브리 וַיַּחֲלֹ֤ם יוֹסֵף֙ חֲל֔וֹם וַיַּגֵּ֖ד לְאֶחָ֑יו וַיּוֹסִ֥פוּ ע֖וֹד שְׂנֹ֥א אֹתֽוֹ׃

한글(개역) 요셉이 꿈을 꾸고 자기 형들에게 고하매 그들이 그를 더욱 미워하였더라

영어(KJV) And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told {it} his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.

37:6

히브리 וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם שִׁמְעוּ נָ֕א הַחֲל֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָלָֽמְתִּי׃

한글(개역) 요셉이 그들에게 이르되 `청컨대 나의 꾼 꿈을 들으시오

37:7

히브리 וְ֠הִנֵּה אֲנַ֜חְנוּ מְאַלְּמִ֤ים אֲלֻמִּים֙ בְּת֣וֹךְ הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה וְהִנֵּ֛ה קָ֥מָה אֲלֻמָּתִ֖י וְגַם נִצָּ֑בָה וְהִנֵּ֤ה תְסֻבֶּ֨ינָה֙ אֲלֻמֹּ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וַתִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֖יןָ לַאֲלֻמָּתִֽי׃

한글(개역) 우리가 밭에서 곡식을 묶더니 내 단은 일어서고 당신들의 단은 내 단을 둘러서서 절하더이다'

영어(KJV) For, behold, we {were} binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.

37:8

히브리 וַיֹּ֤אמְרוּ לוֹ֙ אֶחָ֔יו הֲמָלֹ֤ךְ תִּמְלֹךְ֙ עָלֵ֔ינוּ אִם מָשׁ֥וֹל תִּמְשֹׁ֖ל בָּ֑נוּ וַיּוֹסִ֤פוּ עוֹד֙ שְׂנֹ֣א אֹת֔וֹ עַל חֲלֹמֹתָ֖יו וְעַל דְּבָרָֽיו׃

한글(개역) 그 형들이 그에게 이르되 `네가 참으로 우리의 왕이 되겠느냐 ? 참으로 우리를 다스리게 되겠느냐 ?' 하고 그 꿈과 그 말을 인하여 그를 더욱 미워하더니

영어(KJV) And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

37:9

히브리 וַיַּחֲלֹ֥ם עוֹד֙ חֲל֣וֹם אַחֵ֔ר וַיְסַפֵּ֥ר אֹת֖וֹ לְאֶחָ֑יו וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הִנֵּ֨ה חָלַ֤מְתִּֽי חֲלוֹם֙ ע֔וֹד וְהִנֵּ֧ה הַשֶּׁ֣מֶשׁ וְהַיָּרֵ֗חַ וְאַחַ֤ד עָשָׂר֙ כּֽוֹכָבִ֔ים מִֽשְׁתַּחֲוִ֖ים לִֽי׃

한글(개역) 요셉이 다시 꿈을 꾸고 그 형들에게 고하여 가로되 `내가 또 꿈을 꾼즉 해와 달과 열한 별이 내게 절하더이다' 하니라

영어(KJV) And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
